Spring Flower Festival (March 2018):
This festival showcased a diverse array of flowers
presented in various artistic arrangements, celebrating the onset of spring and promoting
horticultural appreciation among visitors.

Kid Kare School Annual Function (March 2018):
The Kidz Kare School celebrated its annual day at Ayub Park, with the event chaired by the President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).

Rawal Expo (April 2018):
Organized by the RCCI, the Rawal Expo featured numerous organizational stalls set up in the Topi Rakh Complex. The event included a food court, pet show, car show, and musical night, offering a blend of business and entertainment activities.

Ramadan Night Cricket Tournament (May-June 2018): Held during the holy month of Ramadan,
this cricket tournament saw participation from various teams across Rawalpindi and
surrounding areas, with prizes awarded to the winning teams.

AHF Ex-Officers Tree Plantation Event (September 2018): A plantation activity where former
officers of the Army Heritage Foundation (AHF) were invited to plant trees, emphasizing
environmental conservation and community involvement.

Dog Show (November 2018): This event spanned two days, with the first day open to all breeds
and the second day dedicated exclusively to German Shepherds. Prizes were awarded to the
winning dogs, promoting responsible pet ownership and canine appreciation.

Water Conservation Walk by NUST Students (Date unspecified): Students from the National
University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) organized a walk to highlight the importance of
clean drinking water and emphasize water conservation efforts.

A festival organized by Allied Bank, where families actively participated in various activities, fostering community engagement and enjoyment.


National Cleaner Production Centre (NCPC) Environment Mela (April 2019):
Held near the food court, this environmental fair featured stalls from various institutions highlighting the
importance of a clean and healthy environment. The event aimed to raise awareness about
environmental protection among the public, especially children.


Rawal Expo (April 2019):
The International Rawal Expo, organized in the Topi Rakh Complex, spanned four days and featured numerous organizational stalls. Highlights included a food court set up in the lawn, a car show, and musical nights, offering a blend of business and entertainment activities.


Ramadan Night Cricket Tournament:
During the holy month of Ramadan, a cricket tournament was organized with teams from Rawalpindi and surrounding areas. Matches were held after Iftar, utilizing the park’s floodlit facilities, and prizes were awarded to the winning teams.


Heritage House Exhibition Hall Inauguration (May 2019):
The Heritage House Exhibition Hall was inaugurated by the Director General of the Army Heritage Foundation and the Director of the Army Museum, in the presence of AHF officers. This addition aimed to enrich the cultural
and historical offerings of the park.


Defence Day Celebrations (September 6, 2019):
Defence Day was observed with enthusiasm, honoring the sacrifices of the armed forces and promoting patriotism among visitors.

Army Public School (APS) Memorial Day (December 16, 2019):
Commemorating the tragic APS incident, the memorial day featured speeches by students from various schools and a wreath laying ceremony, fostering reflection and remembrance.


Revamped Amusement Park (September 2019):
The park introduced a newly developed amusement area, featuring a variety of rides such as a Ferris wheel, pirate ship, merry-go round, aero shop, jumping frog, and super jet. A notable attraction was the “Capital Eye” Ferris
wheel, offering panoramic views of the city. Safety measures were emphasized, and a food
court was established to enhance the visitor experience.


These events and developments in 2019 reflect Ayub National Park’s commitment to providing
diverse recreational opportunities, promoting environmental awareness, and fostering
community engagement.
