RCCI Food Festival (12th–14th November 2021):
Organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this festival featured a variety of food stalls complemented by light entertainment. The event was honored by the presence of the Bangladeshi High Commissioner and his spouse.
Hunar Bazar at Topi Rakh Complex (7th November 2021):
An arts and crafts exhibition where artisans from the twin cities displayed their work, promoting local craftsmanship and culture.
Cricket Match for the Blind (27th October 2021):
A cricket match held at Ayub Park Sports Complex, featuring participation from blind and differently-abled individuals, emphasizing inclusivity in sports.
White Cane Safety Day (18th October 2021):
Organized by the Rotary Club Islamabad, this event included performances by students from special schools, speeches highlighting the importance of white cane safety, and a public awareness walk.
ZEM AHF Azadi T10 Cricket Tournament (27th August – 20th September 2021):
A knockout T10 cricket tournament approved by the Northern Cricket Association, featuring 64 teams. The
“Islamabad Vikings” emerged as champions. The event attracted celebrities like Sohail Tanveer
and Khushdil Shah, with live coverage on Ayub Park’s official YouTube channel.
1st Mari Petroleum Azadi Hockey Cup 2021 (8th–15th August 2021):
Sponsored by Mari Petroleum and approved by the Pakistan Hockey Federation, this tournament featured eight
top-ranked teams. The National Bank of Pakistan team clinched the trophy, with the final graced
by the Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination, Dr. Fehmida Mirza.
World Environment Day (5th June 2021):
In collaboration with various organizations, Ayub Park hosted a walk and tree plantation drive, resulting in the planting of 500 trees. Approximately 200 participants, including children from Madrasatul Fatimyah, took part in the event, underscoring environmental conservation efforts.
International Yoga Day (20th June 2021):
Celebrated at the park’s yoga center, the event featured lectures by yoga experts followed by physical exercise sessions, promoting physical and mental well-being among participants.

engagement, promoting cultural and environmental awareness, and providing inclusive
recreational opportunities for visitors of all backgrounds.
